Location
This picture was taken whilst walking through Tatton park in Cheshire. Tatton park is a National trust venue with a healthy herd of different breeds of Deer and other wildlife. It was my first outing into wildlife photography.Time
This was at noon, and during rutting season in october if memory serves me right, there were signs all around warning the stags could be aggressive and to take care.Lighting
I thought the lighting was good and loved the fact the stag was being watched, waiting for he is opportunity to steal hinds away from him.Equipment
Nikon D810 and tamron 70-200mm f2,8 lensInspiration
I was inspired to take this picture as it was indicative of life, you always have someone looking to take advantage of you slipping up, you have to be constantly on it to protect whatever is yours. It was Raw and aggressive but beautiful in the same vein.Editing
noIn my camera bag
i am fairly new to photography so building my kit up, but i use a D810 24-70mm and then a 70-200mm. I am also starting to use more primes and always natural light when available.Feedback
Just always have a camera with you no matter where you are going, and be ready for whatever life throws in front of you. Great captures come not when planned but as they happen spontaneously.
