Behind The Lens

Location

This image was captured in Algonquin Park, Ontario, Canada

Time

Taken at 11:25 am

Lighting

This is all natural lighting and although it was a sunny day and nearing high noon the lights harshness did not take away from the beauty of this beautiful red fox.

Equipment

Taken with my Canon EOS 60D, using a tripod, and remote trigger.

Inspiration

My husband and I were watching this fox for a while, we believe that he was after a rodent of some kind. The fact that he decided to climb up on top of the stump and pose just like I was hoping that he would how could you not be inspired.

Editing

I did very minimal post-processing. Only some cropping and exposure adjusting.

In my camera bag

I am a Canon shooter. Using an EOS 60D. My bag is actually a Nanuk 945 which has my 50mm, 70-200, 100mm macro, and a sigma 150-500mm. It also holds my remote trigger, flash, batteries and SD cards.

Feedback

As with any wildlife it takes patience, perfect timing and luck!!!
