The Black Rabbit of Inle (Watership Down) sat waiting in the evening.

For those that do not know, the black rabbit is a rare omen believed to be a sign that death is near, in Watership Down by Richard Adams, the rabbit would collect the spirits of the passing rabbits. This wild black rabbit spends his evenings sat in the long grass just watching and waiting. Even though he is wild, and spends time with the wild population, he is most likely a pet that has been released. Near me, he is safe to be who he is and I really enjoy watching him.
