Location
This photo was taken just outside my hometown Ter Apel. Every night after work I take my dogs for a long walk, for them to have some fun and for me to enjoy everything else in the field.Time
It was at the end May, during one of the most beautiful sunsets I've seen this year. The sky was on fire after a hot pre-summers day and everything small turned into something magical.Lighting
The lightning was perfect, the sunset was turning the field of grass and Dandelions into one big palet of colors. It was only a matter of searching for the right position to take the photo.Equipment
This photo was taken with my Olympus PEN lite ep-l5 and a m.zuiko 12-40mm F/2.8 PRO lens, using a gorilla tripod.Inspiration
It's not the first Dandelion I've made a photo off but for this photo I was looking to find the absolute perfect angle and to cover not only the Dandelion but also the field surrounding it. I wanted to take the viewer into the field and enjoy the sunset with me!Editing
Yes, a little. Using Lightroom I've upped the lightness a little and had to straighten the photo just a little. After doing that I've changed the brightness and added a little more colour using saturation. In my camera bag
The first thing I grab is my gorilla tripod, in the past I've forgot to do so and have regretted that many times. Than offcourse the rest come out into the bag. I prefer taking landscape photo's so that requires my m.zuiko 12-40mm f/2.8 pro lens, a macro lens for smaller items and I never forget my 75-300mm objective as some amazing things will be further away.Feedback
It's the smaller things in life that could make your day look so much better. Getting down on your knees, or even lye down in the grass to capture that one unique photo is something worth getting dirty knees for.
