While visiting a Lavender farm in San Juan Islands, Washington, I stopped at there shop where they sold everything made of lavender. On a wall facing the farm they had a small area made of clear glass blocks. The distortion of the plants across the wall reminded me of the images I had seen of single cell amoebas I had seen when I studied or taught microbiology.
