While at Tybee Island, Georgia with friends I noticed that most of the non-seashore birds looked like they were suffering from malnutrition(feathers missing or at weird angles, ruffled feathers, or wet looking). This was the only Boattail grackle that I saw that day that looked in good shape. Perhaps he had just arrived?
