Returning home from Ludlow in December 2010 we noticed these donkeys in a field and had to capture the moment. The ice on the trees and cobwebs, the contact between the noses of the donkeys all caught my imagination and I have since reproduced this moment in pastel. The painting sold very quickly as you can imagine.....!
