This was taken at the river Inn close to Passau, Germany.Time
It was in the evening as I came back from a really long walk in the woods and the mist was rising from the river.Lighting
The sun was already gone and it got dark quite fast. The trees were kind of glowing with all their beautiful colors.Equipment
I used my Nikon D90 with a Tamron 18-270mm lens.Inspiration
I just wanted to catch the beauty of this evening.Editing
I cropped the image a bit and boosted the colors a bit.In my camera bag
I'm usually taking pictures out of the moment without much of planning. Therefore I'm usually not carrying a camera bag but a normal backpack with what I need for hiking, mountainbiking etc. But my camera always comes with me and my standard lens is the Tamron 18-270mm. When I bring extra equipment it's usually a grey and polarising filter and something to clean the lens.Feedback
Just go out and bring your camera. Rivers and lakes in the evening are always a good motif, especially in spring and autumn. Keep your eyes open and don't hesitate to visit a place several times to catch that perfect moment.
