Another shot from my week exploring the landscapes of Galloway & Dumfries in SW Scotland.
This image was captured close to Clatteringshaws Loch in the Galloway Forest Park.
With a number of celestial objects visible to the naked eye including the constellation of Orion and the Pleiades cluster, the Milky Way was clearly in attendance too - the sky appeared as though it was full of pinholes.
On a clear night, the skies in this part of Scotland are fantastic and never cease to amaze.
