Behind The Lens

Location

Its was just a lazy day when we suddenly we decided to visit the Al Ain Zoo in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, this photo is taken in the Al Ain Zoo

Time

It was a hot lazy Friday Afternoon when I took this photo and the animals at the zoo are taking their naps, then I spotted this beautiful creature gazing upon, good thing I have my long lens that time that I captured this perfect poise.

Lighting

He was under a big tree and it was all natural lighting as the sun was very powerful that Friday afternoon.

Equipment

It was all handheld, my Nikon D7100 and my 70-300 lens.

Inspiration

The animals at the zoo are so cute that I just can't resist clicking, but this one was at the perfect poise as if he is gazing upon looking for his mum, thus the title.

Editing

No heavy post processing done.only a little bit color correction

In my camera bag

Usually when I shoot I have in my bag, Nikon D7100, 70-300 lens, 35mm lens, and 85-105 lens, under different occasion I bring along a Flash and Tripod.

Feedback

In order to capture these moving animals, you have to be assertive and fast, as they are constantly moving and sometimes, these shots are candin and are very good, you have to make the settings fast shutter speed.
