As time goes by ... today you can´t take a photo like this anymore of this part of the worlds biggest open air gallery - the former Berlin wall. Almost all of the pictures got heavily damaged not only by todays grafiti sprayers but also by tourists depicting their names straight onto the artworks. After cleaning the wall up almost every year with volunteers the city decided to put a fence (!) straight before the Berlin wall (think of the irony in this action after the opening of the wall in 1989) to save its last remains.
This one here is one of the less known artworks but since this world simply needs peace this is one of my favourite ones: The peace doves.
