Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in a remote village in Bangladesh where you barely see any motor vehicles. The villagers live off of nature and everyone seems to know everyone. The boy ckmes from a poor family much like most other families in that village. Even with almost zero material possessions, they are still the happiest people I've come across.

Time

It was taken around 4pm

Lighting

It was about 2 hours to sundown at that point.

Equipment

I used a canon 7d, no flash or tripod. All natural lighting.

Inspiration

I like the rustic look on the metal door and the boys photogenic looks. He was also very keen on his picture to be taken.

Editing

I left it natural

In my camera bag

A few lenses and a flash.

Feedback

When taking pictures of people, I love using my zoom lens and taking candid photos. This particular one was posed however. The boy being photogenic and the surroundings made up for that.
