Nikon D7200 with an 18-105mm Nikon lens.Inspiration
I teach an Adventure photography course, and we were taking advantage of having some great skaters at our skate park.Editing
The Skaters were a little back lit, so I lighten up the Skaters face, and darkened the clouds for extra dramaIn my camera bag
I Carry a Nikon d7100, and d7200. It has taken a lot of time to figure that out, and find a backpack that can hold everything. I am using a LowPro tactical backpack. So I can carry the two bodies, along with a Nikkor 50mm 1.8, Nikkor 18-105, Nikkor 180mm, Tamron 24-70mm 2.8, Tamron 70-200 2.8, Tokina 100mm macro. I also have a Tamron 150-600 that I can attach to the pack. The trick was to find a pack that was comfortable enough to carry the gear when hiking 5-10 miles a day.Feedback
Being able to find a great location and take advantage of the talent the was there. I shot this at a high shutter speed, at 18mm on my zoom and had the skater basically skate right at me and captured him when he peaked his action.
