I had a photography professor who would always criticize a shot of mine if it wasn't perfectly in focus. "This shot would have been good if it was in focus" he would tell me. But I think we all get caught up in producing high-definition shots that we forget that there are other ways to produce art, and to me what got me started in photography is finding beautiful ways to look at ordinary things. Things that you take for granted and you pass by on a daily basis without giving a second thought. This image to me symbolizes the birth of spring and the energy it radiates with the colors blending together. Sometimes I am so focused on finding a spectacular shot, I'm searching the horizon for something worth capturing, and sometimes it's right below me the whole time. I just have to look
