It was the first time my eleven-month old son had been to a fair. I enjoyed this simple moment of him interacting with one of the animals. They both had a sense of curiosity about each other, as the animal moved to the corner of his pen to get a better look.
Being a parent is a lot like being a photographer in the sense that you are constantly encounters moments where you experiencing things in a completely new way. Seeing my son look at the world with such astonishment makes me realize how much I take for granted on a daily basis. I hope he never loses that sense of wonder.
