Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo on a trip back from Denver, Co. My family and I went for a small hike at a location called Treasure Falls on Wolf Creek Pass.

Time

It was early afternoon and it was a last minute stop. The hike was about thirty minutes and it was beautiful on the way up and I couldn't help thinking "How could this hike get any more perfect?" and then we got to the top and the waterfall was amazing and the nature surrounding it was so breathtaking.

Lighting

The sun was right above the waterfall so it gave some excellent lighting.

Equipment

I actually didn't have my 35mm canon film camera with me. So I used my HCT One to capture this picture.

Inspiration

I've always wanted to take pictures of a waterfall and I took several but this one was my favorite.

Editing

I used the sharpening tool on my phone and I probably adjusted the saturation a tad.

In my camera bag

Usually I have Mt 35mm cannon, some extra film, a macro/wide view lens, a zoom lens, a regular lens, a few filters, and some lens cleaner. This time I only had my cell phone

Feedback

I would say, If you think it's worth taking a picture of, do it. Take a lot of pictures. You never know what you're going to capture.
