I took the Moon shot on my front steps. I had just come home from dinner with friends. I was walking up the steps when I looked up and saw the shot and took it.Time
I took this in the evening I'm going to guess around 7:30.Lighting
I think the street light lended enough light to make the shot.Equipment
I was worried if I ran inside to get my Cannon I would miss the shot so I used my S5 Galaxy cell phone. It turned out great!.Inspiration
I have always loved the moonI take a lot of moon shot. This on e was different. I just looked up and it was there. The best kind! It's the kind where you look or glance over and it stops you . You know that's your shot.Editing
The shot speaks for itself. All I did was crop it. Nothing else was needed. In my camera bag
I'm not one to carry alot in my Camera bag just an extra SD card or two and an extra battery. Also a little cleaner. Half the time I just grab the camera go...Feedback
I found this shot by pure chance .but if you want to take a similar shot my advice would be to scout out trees that would give a clear shot of the moon. Also, you don't want the tree branches to be too thick or too clustered. You will also want to watch your lighting or be able to watch your shutter time because it's a night shot. Keep in mind the earth rotates faster than you think so your shot will change quiclkly. Check your calendar for a full moon. Good Luck!
