Fuji X Pro 2 with 18mm Fuji lens.Inspiration
I was about to take the street buskers photo when the old car drove by. It was one of those great moments where things just fall into place.Editing
I load my images into Lightroom for initial minor adjustments and sizing then send them into Snapseed where the BNW conversions are done.In my camera bag
Fuji X Pro 2 with a 28mm. I like the 18mm (28mm in full frame camera ) lens as it's similar focal length to an iPhone, which I first used for street work. I initially bought the Fuji X 100T but found working with the 35mm lens frame too restrictive to my style.Feedback
My shooting style is very unorthodox- I never compose through the viewfinder nor back screen. Framing is instinctive, I just know where to aim the camera and get it right 99% of the time. I also hold the camera upside down and shoot one handed. So as you see- quite unusual. The camera is of little concern to me, the less I'm aware of it the better. I'm always scanning what's happening up ahead in the street and position myself quickly into a scene to grab that moment.
