I wanted to see the arch at sunrise and get some photos of it, so we arose at 3:00 a.m. and drove from Moab, Utah to Canyonlands National Park. It's a bit of a walk to get to the arch, and in the dark it required flashlights to see and not stumble.Editing

Be patient, visit more than once. The skies can be tricky at times. Just keep trying. Be there and have all equipment set up before sunrise.
