I totally love your artwork. You're obviously very talented and I am following you now but I am a little curious about your poetry. You say you'd like to write poetry for children but the poetry here, whilst very accomplished and much better than anything I could do, is way over the heads of a lot of children I know. My 15 yr old intellectually gifted son would be saying "whoah what?"

Thank you for your kind words and feedback, Jim :) I certainly understand and somewhat agree with your perspective.. I was pondering the same thing. I think because my subjects are children, combined with the simplistic meter in my verse, I felt that the nature of these pieces were perhaps more juvenile- although concepts that I would consider relative to most people. Maybe we should forgo our modern nursery rhymes for poetry of William Blake.. lol ;)
