Due to the differences in light levels I had to do an HDR shot of this. This is Hedley mines. On an off-roading trip we managed to find a back trail into the top of the mine and snuk in to get a peak at the operation. They had carved out the entire mountain top and dug down in search of gold. This mountain has veins running through it that have been explored for the past 100 years.
