Location
It was at the Alaska wildlife conservation center in Portage, AK. There was a bear habitat there. I was there in the morning, but the staff there said they would be feeding the bears in the afternoon and to come back. I'm so glad we did, these two bears were playing in the water and tossing bones and it was such an honor to see these beautiful creatures swimming and playing.Time
It was after feeding time, after 3 pm.Lighting
It was in the late afternoon in May 2014, I got a close up as well, but the mountains behind it were just as pretty and I wanted to include the contrast of where they were, in nature, not at a zoo.Equipment
I used a Canon Zoom lens 75-300 mm 1:4-5.6. that was it, was snapping like crazy!Inspiration
I love nature, and headed back to the nature conservatory to experience seeing them eating and frolicking. It was fun to see the mama bear and her cub playing in the water.Editing
It was many years ago, if anything it was maybe to get the colors to pop with the brightness and tone on my MacBook pro.In my camera bag
Canon EOS Rebel T3 with a canon 18-55mm lens, a canon zoom lens ef 75-300mm and some UV filters and a mini tripod.Feedback
I love a great shot, and good equipment helps me get a good shot, along with just taking lots of photos and hoping for a really good one in there somewhere. Being in nature and this beautiful world, there's always something to capture. I love animals and gorgeous scenery!
