On a road trip to Prescott, Ontario (close to the US border) we stopped to take shots of the Fort that has been preserved as part of a park. This is my edited version, made to look like a souvenir photo. I have that sneaking feeling that someone preserved the wood from a hangmans' platform, to beat the unblessed planks into a ploughshare. I wanted to make it look more forlorn in that stone grey winter light.
