Behind The Lens

Location

My parents and I were looking at a house in South Carolina with this gorgeous rustic barn for our horses and I just had to take pictures of it. I am an amateur photographer and self taught so I figured the building would be good practice.

Time

It was right around 3:00 pm on a very sunny day so the lighting was very warm and pretty easy to shoot with.

Lighting

There was nothing dramatic about this lighting but it gave the barn a somewhat inviting feel.

Equipment

All I used for this photo was a Canon 70D and a 55-250mm Canon Lens

Inspiration

I really just wanted something simple that I could frame and hang on my wall.

Editing

I've only been doing photography for about 2 or 3 years (being that I'm only 14) so I have never done any Post-processing.

In my camera bag

I always carry 2 batteries, my Vivitar Series 1 Deluxe Power Grip, Canon 70D, and a 55-250mm canon lens.

Feedback

Try and keep the object you are photographing front and center with warm lighting on clear days.
