When I first got to Dream Lake, I was nervous about venturing out onto the frozen lake (for obvious reasons), but I really wanted this shot. We slowly made our way out and then some other hikers arrived and told us it was plenty safe, haha. The winds were strong enough to reveal the awesome texture of the ice below. This is by far my favorite shot of the day.
