Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken at a Lion reserve in South Africa. We could get close with the game viewing vehicle. It was before I had a DSLR camera so that will tell you how close we got to the animals. He just lay there starring at us. Only on my computer I saw the tick on his eyelid

Time

It was about 10:00 am.

Lighting

Only natural lighting

Equipment

It was shot with a Fuji film camera without a tripod

Inspiration

It was just an idea at the time to play with the focus point

Editing

I enhanced the saturation a bit on this photo

In my camera bag

I am still an amateur photographer and still building my kit. I currently have a Canon EOS 1000D, its kit lenses, 50mm macro lens and gorilla tripod

Feedback

With a telescopic lens this image could have even more detail
