I have been fortunate to have traveled and documented a lot of wildlife in Africa. Even with a lot of experience the fauna is overwhelming in a way that you often forget the flora. Fire Lilies are hard not to notice as they appear shortly after even light rains...I wanted a different image than the the normal ones so when I spotted a group in Ruaha I took out my macro lens and made this shot..
