The photo of this pond and its sky reflections was taken at the Gleneagles Hotel and Golf resort , Perthshire, Scotland. We used to live nearby and love to visit there.Time

I loved the reflections of the sky into the pond and the idea that the clouds looked like the Cairngorm hills, which are actually behind the clouds.Editing
The image is the result of 3 bracketed handheld shots merged in HDR photomatix at the smooth setting, I then reduced the noise introduced by the HDR treatment and slightly cropped it to get rid of the pixelated edge.In my camera bag

Scotland is always beautiful for landscape photography, a big country with a big sky and such variation in landscapes and lighting. Even on rainy days know that Scottish weather can mean 3-4 seasons in one day.
