As one can see it was taken during the sunset. Awesome lighting and fast moving clouds allowed me to have a more exceptionally sunste photo than regular. :)Lighting
The light is all natural from the sunset. Thanks to long exposure the clouds movements are taken into this photo.Equipment
Canon EOS 5D Mark III on a Manfrotto tripod with the 24-105/4L lens which was covered by a ND1000 filter.Inspiration
Fast moving clouds and a very colorful sunset made me go up to the highest floor to make this long exposure photo.Editing
Some color optimzations in Lightroom and photoshop, litte more detail sharpening. Not more.In my camera bag
Depends what i am planning to shoot. For landscape i only have my 24-105/L4 right now with my Manfrotto 055XPROB Tripod. If i plan to shoot in nature i also grab my Sigma 150-600C lens to get closeups of animals and also my Canon 100/2.8L lens for macro photography. For people Photography i have my prime lenses from sigma art (35 and 50mm) and my canon 100/2.8L.Feedback
This was made possible thanks to the ND1000 filter, so i could use a very long exposure time to capture the clouds movement. With a remote release (for BULBing a few minutes) and a tripod you're good to go. You probably have to experiment a bit with the manual settings till you get a well exposed photo.
