Dakota and Double were best friends. Dakota treated him as if he was her own baby...love across animals is very deep indeed.

Location
This Photo was taken in my home in LaSalle, ON Canada.Time
The Photo was taken in the early evening during the summer of 2014. The two of them had played and then ate, so they were very content to take a rest together.Lighting
There was beautiful light coming from my window and sliding patio door, so need for a flash.Equipment
The Camera I used: FinePix S4000, Aperture: f/5.2, ISO: 800, Shutter Speed: 10/150, Focal Length: 1880/100.Inspiration
I was inspired to take this photo because I wanted to show the world that cats and dogs can and do get along. My male cat Double, fall in love with my female German Shepherd at first site when he was a kitten. Dakota would groom Double just as if she was his Mother. Double would sleep along Dakota's belly just like he would do if it were his mother. They became best fur friends for 6.5 years!! Dakota, passed away on April 23, 2016...she is now my Special Angel.Editing
