I never intentionally meant to produce this type of photo. I was just experimenting and came across that this style of photo looks fascinating. I have been inspired and influenced by looking at many bokeh style photos which i have then tried to take more images linking to this style. It shows the watermarks from my window with the light reflecting onto the window creating amazing lighting with a tree in the background. Also i took this image in the early evening when the sun started to go down meaning the lighting would look different but in an amazing way because i think it brings out all different features in this image and in other peoples images taken in this way.

Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo from my bedroom window after a day of school

Time

This picture was taken early evening in the early stages of summer.

Lighting

There was no additional lighting it was all from the sunset bouncing off the window and the camera. I could have used additional lighting but I felt that would have ruined the realism of the photograph.

Equipment

I used a Sony camera and eventhough the camera was against the window I zoomed in so you can fully see the marks on the window

Inspiration

It was soon after I got my camera and I was experimenting. When I saw the sunsetting I thought it would be a great image to capture. It gave me a warm peaceful feeling and I wanted to capture this photo so it'll always be remembered.

Editing

Well since the image was zoomed in to the fullest I had to take my time in focusing and making sure it was perfect to how I wanted it

In my camera bag

Normally a try and carry around two cameras. One Sony DSLR camera and one small pocket camera. This is because I like how some of the images look on the smaller camera or sometimes I like to make videos on it. I also carry small crystal balls to experiment photos with. I like to also someone times carry a small light box that can produce additional light with a couple of different lighting colour contrasts.Sometimes I'll carry my tripod as well for iconic buildings if I want to make sure the image is completely straight or if I'm trying to use the rule of thirds.

Feedback

I'd say sometimes you'll wait to capture any image and that can work but I feel it's better if you aren't waiting but see a moment you feel to capture because you'll most likely get the the image your looking at, at the best moment. Also take your time and don't rush because if you take your time you'll get the image at a great quality and you'll have a feel good factor towards yourself. Never be afraid to take several photos of one thing because if one isn't great it doesn't matter because you can take more and then select which one you feel is best and sometimes the image you think isn't great can actually be spectacular.
