This was a taken at midday inside one of the tents.Lighting
Aside from natural light the performers are backlit by LED panels and spot lights. I had more than enough light to work!Equipment

I first made regular exposure and color adjustments in Lightroom. However there was another person on stage on their phone, if you look carefully you can tell I mirrored the scene to take it this person to make it more visually appealing.In my camera bag
I always like to be prepared when I cover a music festival. I bring my Pelican 1560 packed with 2x Canon 5d3, Canon 8-15mm f/4L, Sigma 20mm f/1.8, Sigma 35mm f/1.4 Art, Sigma 50mm f/1.4 Art, Canon 135mm f/2, Canon 70-200 f/2.8 IS II, and a Canon 600 ex-RT speedlite.Feedback
The best way to shoot this kind of image is to either work directly with an artist or the festival. The biggest key is to be respectful and mindful on stage. Wear all black so you don't stick out. Do your best to stay out of the way and be mindful of wires!
