These are such beautiful animals and a joy to photograph. With the Arctic Fox being the same colour as the surrounding snow it takes much more practice and the right lighting to get that shot. That is where coming to a place like Parc Omega can help as real wildlife is not easy to come by. These place are great for education and can help give you the opportunity to not only get closer to these animals but also to sharpen your skills and techniques of photographing them. There is some ethical debate when it comes to captive being considered wildlife as some magazines even publish captive animals as wildlife... I personally do not think that is right and think that captive animal photographs are not WILDLIFE. I pride myself on wildlife photography and think if an image is captured in captivity it should be stated which is why I always say it in the title. I have been offered publications with my captive "wildlife" photographs but I do not accept them due to my ethics. What do think about captive images being called wildlife? Thank you for viewing and feel free to share.
