These colors are way over done in editing.

Behind The Lens

Location

Washington DC National Zoo

Time

Early afternoon

Lighting

It was a warm sunny day so all natural light.

Equipment

Cannon EOS7D No tripod No flash 18-135 lens Just me holding the camera as still as I could(suffer from shakes) and snapping away!

Inspiration

The color of the leaves caught may eye. Growing up on an island in south Texas we did not see the leaves change.

Editing

This was some of my first real use of the camera and Adobe Photoshop. I enhanced the color a little and sharpened it up some, since I shake so bad.

In my camera bag

Flash, additional lens, lens cleaning equipment and additional memory cards.

Feedback

I suffer from a color deficiency so vivid colors to me must really be vivid to others. As a child our house was destroyed by a hurricane along with many years of family portraits. Because of this and as a cancer survivor I wanted to capture what I see and share it wth others. I believe a really great picture is being in the right place at the right time and I have been blessed to have that happen for me. When you see it, snap it, share it and bless others who may not have the same opportunity to see it in person like you did!
