Location
I took this photo in my backyard. It was one of the first warmer nights after a brutal winter so I had decided to play catch with my dog, Thor in the backyard. I noticed it was going to be a clear sky sunset, so I ran inside and got my camera.Time
This was taken on May 18, 2015. It was the evening. My work night routine during the warmer months is spend a few moments playing catch my dog. After spending hours behind a desk it's nice to be able reconnect with nature and sit outside enjoying the warm air and love of my pooch!Lighting
This photo is naturally produced. The lens flare was captured by my camera. In 2015 I had not known about editing my photos in Photoshop and being able to added the coveted lens flare during post processing.Equipment
I shot this with my Nikon D5000 using my AF-S NIKKOR 50mm f/1.4G lens.Inspiration
My inspiration was a warm evening after work with my hyper puppy that demanded we play outside.Editing
Yes, I used the basic features in Lightroom. In my camera bag
I typically only have the camera and lens I used to capture this photo.Feedback
Have patience and learn to photograph without looking through the view finder. In order to capture this I had to lay down on the ground, and talk to him while I looking at him. This is how I was able to get his head to tilt.
