This is the old train station in front of my house .. it's all ruined and quite poorly assembled, however, for me is a very charming place where I see many things seemingly insignificant as a form of very strong language, keeping the magic of wonder who lives behind appearance.

It almost looks like the train is going into a portal to another dimension. Your imagination can just take off.

Location
Where I live there is the station of the old trains and has a special charm that place .. many times the trains that come out of the dark or fog give impression of being in another surreal place .Time
it was late at night, to make this photo I shot in low light, and between me and the train actually there was also a light pole, many objects that prevented me to frame the picture as I wanted. My camera is not really performing for night shots and I eventually used some of the bars that I found them to lean the camera to hold it steady. There was the man of the night security for trains, did not understand why anyone would shoot an old train at night as he was about to rain, he thought I was a bit '"strange" and therefore continued to check what were my intentions. I came home with wet camera, however, with the photo of which I am proud!Lighting
it was night and the light arrives from the lamppost which was situated not far, at that time it was a perfect combination of moonlight poking a little 'behind the thick clouds and the road artificial lightEquipment
I used the Canon 40D with a 18-55 no tripod and no flash. Also because it was my only equipment.Inspiration
I find interesting places or objects seemingly insignificant or covered with neglect and abandonment, this train and the place where lies are situated not far from my home and pitch us there every day. In this composition of the place and the subject I see the train that comes from places that are high up in the clouds or above them.Editing
Yes, I did a lot of corrections that were needed to enhance the area and the main "subject" of the picture. I removed the unnecessary items that fill the station, and covered the view from the lens and the train. In my camera bag
I have my 40d and the base lens canon 18-55Feedback
I could say something like "try to see through the view", there is something to be seen, behind the appearance
