Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at Machu Pichu in Peru. I love looking through multiple doors or windows to see repeating patterns.

Time

Photo was taken about 11 am in November.

Lighting

The day I was there it was over cast. Of course Machu Pichu is at 12,000 ft. Altitude so the air is thin with mist and clouds moving through the Andes constantly.

Equipment

This was shot with a Nikon D7200 with a 28-300mm lens, hand held. No flash was needed.

Inspiration

Looking through doorways viewing other doorways and or windows gives an interesting view of repeating shapes and varying shades and colors.

Editing

No post processing was done other than cropping.

In my camera bag

I now carry a Nikon D810 with a Sigma 60-600mm lens. As well as a few smaller lens for tighter spaces.

Feedback

Keep an eye out for repeating colors, shadows and shapes.
