Behind The Lens

Location

This Photo was taken at my home backyard.

Time

This photo is one of my best as i took this photo in very harsh sun light. I do remember that we were having a Christmas BBQ at my place and I see no my father was smoking with this huka and I took the opportunity. It was around midday.

Lighting

As I said previously it was not the perfect day to shoot outdoor as it was bright and sunny and the light was harsh plus not mentioning I didn't have any extra gear with me to make the light diffuse somehow. Then suddenly its strike to me I can make this image black and white and can remove the extra lights around the portrait and I was quite surprised what I was ended up with.

Equipment

Canon EOS 600D with Canon 50mm F1.8II lens.

Inspiration

I never tried to shoot portrait as its not my cup of tea. But if i don't try that i will never know what is holding me behind. i found my inspiration through browsing Viewbug image collection once a say at least.

Editing

Yes i turn my image to black and white and remove the saturation around the face and lift up the lil bit shadow from the face.

In my camera bag

Canon 600d with 50mm lens (one of the must have a lens in my bag) and currently i have purchased the Samyang 14mm fast lens for astrophotography. this two lens i are my favourite and you will be found in my bag all the time.

Feedback

As the all other photograher said keep shooting no matter what. You might get end up with great photo. As i alwasy said every photo that you took will make you to grow bit more further. And good luck
