Common Buzzards are one of the most adaptable raptors in Europe. Hunting on basically everything they can handle, feeding on carrion and being cautious when people approach them. I have for a long time wanting to capture that spirit of the animal. When I spotted this one one a Roe Deer roadkill in North Eastern Poland, that is what I was after. It took me hour and a half to get it. All the time having to deal not only with the elusiveness of the bird but also with angry Polish drivers..this as I was parked on the wrong side on a rather busy connecting road.
