I wanted to capture one of the Geminid meteors and after some research found Lindisfarne Castle to be a great location to get some foreground interest. When I arrived it was raining and full cloud cover. After almost giving up the clouds started to part, I got my composition ready and started taking some pics. Was very lucky as a really bright geninid meteor came right towards me right over the castle.
