Cardinalis cardinalis, the Northern Cardinal, one of my favourites birds and a bird that I kept many years ago, they lived in large facilities and would fly out and return. The composition is fabulous as it depicts an intricate mix of shapes, colours, tree branches, textures and there it is, the Cardinalis cardinalis, calmly watching the "one eyed" human like critter that is "looking" at it (you the photographer)
