Broadly, a window is an opening to admit light, allow for the flow of air and to allow you to see out... this is an HDR image that I took at the Eilean Donan Castle in Scotland. As I looked out, I wondered if in those ancient days if there was ever time to gaze and appreciate the greens hills or were they always in watch of the enemy coming in with the tide.
