Looks very similar to the Port Germain Jetty in SA. Spent a few great days there catching blue swimmers and a couple of similar shots. Not as good as this though. Great work.

Congrats! When I look at this the barnacle growth looks like ballet slippers giving an overall impression of several ballet dancers on pointe in a line. You've definitely captured a great depth in this picture.

Location
This photo was taken under Henley Beach Jetty, on the coast of my hometown Adelaide, South AustraliaTime
This was taken just after 9:30pm, about one hour after sunset, at the end of nautical twilight. I wanted to get to this spot for the sunset, but being a very hot evening, on a Sunday night in summer holidays, I couldn't get a carpark anywhere close when I arrived. For a moment I thought I was going to miss the sunset, stuck in the traffic jam for the carpark, but I made it out and settled on a spot further along the coast for sunset, and came back to this location once some people had left.Lighting
I had to use HDR for this image, as the sky still had a little light left, and the sides of the jetty had some light spilling down from the lights on top, but under the jetty, there are no lights, and it was very dark, so I needed a separate brighter exposure for the underside of the jetty to bring out the detailEquipment
Nikon d750, Samyang 24mm tilt-shift, mounted on a tripod. This image comprises 3 shifted images merged to create the panorama, and another image for the underside of the jettyInspiration
I've taken photos from here before, it's not too far from home, and when I saw the sunset looked like being a nice one this evening, I decided to head here, it was a popular place this night though, and I had to wait for a while for a few groups of people to leave the water (even though it was 9:30pm, and almost dark)Editing
I merged the 3 shifted photos for the panorama, and then blended the underside of the jetty. In my camera bag
It really depends on what I'm doing and where I'm going. For landscapes I like the 24mm tilt shift I used here, and also a 14mm f2.8. I've also started packed the sigma art 35mm too. For portrait sessions I'm enjoying the 105mm macro, along with the 35mm f1.4, or 50mm f1.4 For birds and wildlife its the Tamron 150-600mmFeedback
My advice to myself would be to get there earlier so you have time to find a carpark in time for sunset in the first place. I would have liked to be here a little earlier than what I was, but in the end, I had to wait for people to move out of the water anyway.
