My makeup artist/body painter is actually roommates with the model now and they come from Vancouver for a day so that we can create! Definitely! I love playing around in post processing. Other then basic retouching I also decided to change the colour of the background.In my camera bag
I usually like to have a comb to tame hair if necessary, mints, Tylenol, bobby pins, safety pins, business cards, My camera and a couple of lenses! Sigma 70-200 2.8 & Canon 85mm 1.8. I definitely recommend trying to get the softest light that you can. Bring a light defuser if you have one and if its too sunny perhaps try shooting in the shade. Definitely have a makeup artist or body painter on your team! i was lucky enough to have a creative that does makeup, body paint AND hair! If you are wanting to attempt changing background colour then look for some tutorials.
