Thank you! I recently heard that the tree is gone now so this image wouldn't be possible anymore.

Location
I took this photo at Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park in Northern Arizona. Not too far from the entrance and the Visitor Center.Time
This image was captured on March 20, 2009 at 3:15 PM.Lighting
Lighting is completely natural.Equipment
This was captured with a Canon EOS 40D and a Canon EF24-70mm f/2.8L USMInspiration
I always look for items and features that bring interest to an image. In this case, this tree seemed to provide a good potential frame. I remember having to move around quite a bit to be able to frame the tree around the mitten perfectly.Editing
There's actually very minimum post-processing involved with this image. It was processed in Adobe Lightroom with a bit of added contrast, clarity, vibrance and some vignetting. That's about it.In my camera bag
I usually have my Canon EOS 5D MKII and Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L lens as my goto equipment. Although I am looking into switching to mirrorless in the hope to have a lighter load in my bag.Feedback
There are an infinite amount of photography opportunities when visiting Monument Valley. I haven't been back since this image was captured in 2009 but someone told me recently that this tree is gone (it was already dead at the time this image was taken).
