A summer thunderstorm was developing around sunset along the front range. Shortly after this sequence was taken, the skys opened up with torrential rains. This abandoned barn is not too far from my home, and I've taken many photos of it over the years. It is only with nature acting up that it really shows up. This old barn is at the top of the hill above the new 1stBank Center in Superior Colorado.

Technically - this is a 7 shot HDR image - +-- .3 EV stops - F22, 18mm, Tripod mounted Nikon D2xs. Post processed in Photomatix Pro and Lightroom.
