Great, but in the info box it said for the camera 'DSLR-A100' is this correct, it seems an old model?

Thanks, I took this picture at NAS Oceana in 2008. I have since had several cameras, but currently use the Sony a77

Wow great technical shot, good timing/follow and exposure...clean for ISO800@1/1600 This is a shot I would wish for... and the icing on top (excuse the pun) the "angel breath"... wow, so impressed... sharp as a pin too... FL 400mm?

Post foot note:... agree with jimmoon_8772 ...
HELL YEAH !!! Can just see the crackle in the air with this shot.. highlighting the dominator effect! I have seen this baby here in UK... a sensation not to forget quickly, especially the goose bumps! Nice that this photo captured the resonant acoustic standing waves in the exhaust flames... again, wish this was my shot!!! I heard the Sony A77 was a game changer.. me, Canon 5DMK2 but this shot makes me envious.. well done again... I know how hard it is to get all these parameters right at the same time!

Very cool! Almost the same shot I got, but no wing vapor on mine. Beautiful!

In the early 70's I was fortunate to Work on The A7 Course Air, and The F4 Fantom as a Hydraulic Tech in The Air Force. This one I missed out on. Congrats on the Feature! Great shot!

Location
This Photo was taken at N.A.S. Oceana in 2008 during their annual air show. A good friend and I try to make the trip every year.Time
It was taken just after 1pm and was the highlight of the show. this was the first time I had ever seen a F-22 Raptor demonstration.Lighting
The lighting was perfect, nice and bright with a beautiful blue sky. Allowing me to get the shutter speeds necessary to capture fast moving aircraft.Equipment
At the time I was using a Sony a100 with a Sigma 150-500mm lens and it was taken hand held.Inspiration
I have always had a fascination with jet fighter aircraft my entire life and a love for photography. I seemed natural that the two would combine into a passionate hobby.Editing
I always shoot in RAW format, so this photo was processed through Lightroom for colour, saturation and clarity. it was also cropped slightly to create some drama. In my camera bag
I currently use Sony a99 and a77 camera bodies and have several lenses including, Sony 50mm f1.8, Tamron 17-50mm f2.8, Tamron 28-105mm f2.8, Tamron 90mm f2.8 macro, Sigma 70-200 f2.8 and my new favourite Tamron 150-600mm beastie.Feedback
Its all about shutter speed and being able to keep the aircraft in frame when panning. try to keep your ISO as low as the light will allow. For fast moving objects put the shutter speed at 1000/sec or higher and for prop driven aircraft put the shutter speed at 500/sec or lower. This will give some prop blur and will make the picture more appealing. Bring lots of memory, take lots of pictures and practice, practice, practice!!!!! Good luck and have fun :)
