Behind The Lens

Location

I took it in my room's desk.

Time

It was about lunchtime. The room was dark.

Lighting

The room was dark, and i used a single side light, that lit the front face of the avocado.

Equipment

Sony Alfa NEX 3, with an 18-55mm lens

Inspiration

I was starting to learn about photography. I had plenty of time to study and admire the process of taking photos. So i took my time and observed the surface of the avocado, the effects of light and darkness over it, and came to the point of the shadowed avocado image.

Editing

No, i made no post-processing.

In my camera bag

I have now just a Canon t5i, with a CANON EFS 18-55mm MACRO 0.25m lens, a CANON EF 75-300mm 4-5.6 III lens and a CANON EF 50mm 1:1.8 STM, a Manfrotto Compact Advanced Tripod, a Canon 430EXIII SPEEDLITE and A SET OF THREE LP-E8 BATTERIES.

Feedback

Be observative, be patient. Explore the lights and shadows with calm and enjoy the process. Have fun in the making. Also, explore the possibilities of your equipment, so you can learn better how to make impacting images.
