I freakin LOVE that you used moon light! Such a unique take! So many sun light photos or light house photos which are beautiful yet expected, unlike this.????

Location
I took it at a lake in Missouri, USA. Near the shore are many dead trees which creates a great foreground!Time
I think I took it about 9p.m during moonrise. It looked very interesting because it was a special mix of moon and twilight.Lighting
I think it´s very uncommon to use the moon as light source. That´s what makes it special.Equipment
I used a 50mm lens on my Sony A58- maybe an unusal focal lenght for landscape photos but it worked out very well. Because of a 30 second exposure time I had to use a tripod and a remote shutter.Inspiration
I love these trees and I tried to get them in as many different light situations as possible. Btw: The cold mystical way is my favourite.Editing
I had to develop the raw image several times. I combined several different exposures and made strong corrections in color and light to produce a cold mood.In my camera bag
I´m not only a landscape photographer, I do lots of wldlife photography also. So my favourite lens is my Tamron 200-500mm lens, then I always take the 18-55mm kit lens with me and my "landscape lens", a Samyang 16mm f2. Of course I have some ND filters and I always have a tripod with me.Feedback
If you want to take great landscape photos- go out during unusal times! Use the great sunrise or sunset light- also try it during the night or work with different exposures. Combine two photos from two different times of the day and use filters. If you have no option to visit a nice place when the light is good- try out landscape photography in black and white! Have fun, Ben!:)
