Lakes in Bobovek were formed after the water filling of the former clay pit. Today, it is the corner of tranquillity for nature lovers and a permanent or temporary home to over 110 species of birds. Beside the fish, the most numerous inhabitants are mallard ducks. Despite the depth of pond and large variations in temperature, toads, frogs, newts and numerous marshy plants are found here.
